This fall, Joseph Halstrom interned with the Instant Input team. Joe is senior studying Economics at Hobart College. His role during the semester was to help us further define customer segments, develop user acquisition strategies, and test prospecting tools.
Brooke and Tanya appreciated Joe’s fresh eyes, his creativity in the development of potential customers, and his follow through. In addition to a full course load, Joe also plays goalie for the Hobart Statesman Hockey team. Despite a busy schedule, he kept pace with our requests and assignments.
The experience taught Joe a few valuable lessons. In his words, “Brooke and Tanya helped to show me how important it is to approach new ideas, methods, and options with an open mind, giving me the confidence to never hold back an idea from them. This was one of the most valuable experiences I have had throughout my education.”
Thanks for the help, Joe! We can’t wait to see where your career path takes you.
This semester’s intern is Olivia Cross, a senior at Our Lady of Mercy High School. She is studying how design affects different demographics and how to create more equitable opportunities, resources, and quality of life through design. We are reviewing the 2021 Reshaping Rochester series and taking a closer look at the Inner Loop North project in Rochester. She will interview city staff and stakeholders working on the project.
